They can be difficult to contact, and their website is not aimed at helping you very much...  Call your nearest reservations agent: http://www.ryanair.com/site/EN/faqs.php?sect=CONTACT&div=call_ctr For the UK it is 0871 246 0000 At this time, the option was 7 then 1 on the menu system. You need to aim for changing an existing flight. Ensure you have your booking number, address, telephone, email etc and wait for a long time until you get an operator. Tell them the booking number and explain your flight was cancelled and that you'd like a refund if possible. They should be able to enter a 'refund request' and your money should be back with your account in 7 working days. Hits | Last Modified 2009-11-24 ryan air pulled out of manchester airport, has i had previosly booked a flight before there withdrawal, i got a e-mail from ryanair asking if i would like a refund (for said flight)i replied yes i would. they then said they had credited my account with the refund AND GUESS WHAT yes they havnt, and after 4 letters to head office showing my bank details ie(no refund) and numerous phone calls. still no refund this is from an aug 09 flight. so if they have your money ,then they are gunna KEEP IT. They left me stranded in Spain using bad weather at Gatwick as an excuse (I discovered that other airlines i.e Monarch/B.A were still operating)They offered no help, wait for 2 days for next flight which was showing full anyway. I had to get myself 120 miles to another airport where again all Sleasyjet (as I now call them) had been cancelled & was able to get a B.A flight home. It took 3 months of letters/ emails with no positive response & finally I took them to the County Court, they paid out at the last minute. Never again Sleasyjet, I'd rather walk !! Called the web site number many times at £1 per minute, and after 45' they cut me off. The website does not explain how to get a full refund - as I need the money to book a train ticket to return to work! Can anybody help me about how to claim the refund as soon as pos? The site only offers changes and is totally unhelpful & to call them is over €1/minute (I am sure they make it difficult deliberately to make money on the phonecalls). BUT the good news is they sent me an email (several hours after the text telling me to go to the site for my refund) and you can apply for your refund using this link http://schchng.ryanair.com/refweb.asp It is legit, it came from their cancellation mail. So don't waste time and money calling or battling through their site. If you are entitled to a refund, claim it here. It will take a while but it will come... Hits | Last Modified 2010-06-10 4 of us made a claim for a refund back on April 17th, 39 working days later still no sign of the money. After spending 15mins waiting to be put through to an operator today they advised funds were returned back in April! F'ing liars! Obviously getting back the money they lost on a high interest account somewhere with our money still sat in it! I will NEVER book with them again.
